PE100+ Presentation at Trenchless Middle East

Trenchless Middle East 2024:

The leading trenchless technology conference and exhibition was held in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates on 5 and 6 November.

As the use of trenchless technology to install PE100 pipe systems is one of the associations focus areas, the PE100+ Association had a stand at the exhibition and gave a presentation entitled “The use of PE100 materials in trenchless technology applications” which was given by Hussein Basha, a Senior Application Development Engineer at Borouge Pte. Ltd. Mr. Basha focussed on the different technologies that can be used to install PE100 pipe systems and the relevant EN and ISO standards, together with giving an introduction to the No-Dig Guide that can be found on the PE100+ website.

Support was provided by staff from other member companies namely SABIC, TASNEE and LyondellBasell. This was a successful event and we are looking forward to next year’s conference, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.
