PE100+ Association holds it first Arabian Gulf members meeting

The first meeting of the four members of the PE100+ Association, which have production facilities in the Arabian Gulf region, was held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel on 6 November 2024, during the Trenchless Middle East event.  

The meeting was attended by representatives from TASNEE, SABIC, Borouge Pte. and LyondellBasell and chaired by Andrew Wedgner, the association’s president.   The meeting was held to discuss the concerns and ideas presented by the Arabian Gulf members of the association and to agree on joint activities for 2025.   The meeting discussed technical subjects, mainly relating to operational conditions in the Gulf region and the proposed text of Annex D in the upcoming revision of ISO 4427-1 standard.

It was agreed that the association would take part in The World Utilities Congress which is to be held in Abu Dhabi on 27 - 29 May 2025 and at the next Trenchless Middle East event, which is to be held in Riyadh in Q4 2025.
