1200 mm OD PE100 pipes produced by the UK branch of Aliaxis are being used for a major UK water supply project
Kier Infrastructure are undertaking a project to replace an existing GRP pipeline that runs through the Cotswold hills in southern England with a 1200 mm diameter PE100 Pipeline. The original pipeline, which was installed in the late 90’s and early 2000’s has consistently failed and so the decision was taken to replace it with GPS PE Blue pipes and fittings supplied by the UK branch of Aliaxis. When complete, the 13.5 km PE100 pipeline, produced using PE100+ material, will upgrade the connection from a pumping station to a major reservoir serving multiple communities.
