PE100+ updating on the use of PE100 resins in trenchless applications in France
The PE100+ Association was invited by the FSTT (French Society of Trenchless Technology) to present at their 22nd “Trenchless Day” in Le Havre , Normandy on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
This focus of the event was a conference together with an exhibition and was attended by around 300 people.
Didier Nozahic, Senior Account Manager, Pipe at LyondellBasell gave a presentation, prepared in collaboration with Tom Sangster of Downley Consultants, on behalf of PE100 + Association concerning the EN ISO 11295 family of pipe renovation and replacement standards, focusing on those techniques that make use of PE100 pipes. The presentation also covered the latest developments of the PE100 + website including the association’s on line no-dig technical guide. The presentation concluded with the integration of PE100-RC materials in to the European Standards and the specific features of the French quality mark NF114.
The association will continue their cooperation with the FSTT and present at future FSTT events across France.
