With diversity and wide applications, the PVC-U pipe production is ranked first in China among all the plastic pipes, although in recent years, its growth rate is the slower than polyolefin pipes. This paper introduces and reviews the PVC-U pipe application in China, describes recent technical development, such as raw material modification, processing technology improvement, PVC-M and PVC-O innovation.
