PE 100+ Association launches new web-site
At the 30th of September 2000, the PE 100+ Association launchesits new web-site www.pe100plus.com. At present, Borealis, Elenac, Solvay Polyolefins Europe and recently joined ATOFINA are members of the Association.
The Association presents itself with a new outfit. The logo and the colours orange and blue stand for the innovative PE products mainly targeted for the gas and water industry. The internet site is one tool within the new campagn to re-position the PE 100+ Association as the marketing platform for PE piping in general.
"This web launch is the first step in the Association's interactive web approach. In addition to a continously growing download center, everybody can ask questions, which will be published in the Q&A session later on", says Martin Tauber, new Marketing Manager of the Association.
The PE 100+ Association is an industry organisation of several polyethylene (PE) manufactures. Its objective is to guarantee consistent quality at the highest level in the production and the use of PE 100 material. By monitoring the most critical properties of enhanced requirements, it is able to issue a "PE 100+ Association Positive List of Materials" on a regular basis. The Association also aims to create a marketing platform to promote the use of PE piping in general.
