PE 100+ Association 2024 Advisory Committee

Since its founding in 1999, the PE100+ Association looks back on a long tradition of annual Advisory Committee meetings, which bring together global pipe industry experts to provide advice on the activities of the Association and help steer its future direction. Following this tradition, the 2024 Advisory Committee meeting on 19th June was held in Edinburgh, Scotland. During the meeting of over 20 participants, advisory members were informed about current and future marketing activities of the association by Andrew Wedgner (LYB) and a summary of technical activities over the last ten years by Suleyman Deveci (Borouge). This is followed by presentations on. 25 years of installing PE pipes using trenchless technology by Tom Sangster, Downley Associates, 25 years of advances in Die Draw technology to install PE liners by Steve Brogden, Die Draw Ltd., New EU Certification Rules for Drinking Water Products by Peter Sejersen, TEPPFA, 25 years developments in CEN/ISO Standardization by Ernst van der Stok, KIWA, Global development of the PE Pipe market over the past 25 years in Europe and North America (by Andrew Wedgner and David Fink). This was followed by as session in which the participants were asked to provide their thoughts and advice on what had been presented and additional topics that the association needs to focus on in the coming year.   PE100+ Association thanks all participants and presenters for their contributions to another successful event of the Association.
