Urs Amacher – Georg Fischer Piping Systems Ltd

GF Piping Systems is a globally present manufacturer of plastics piping systems for gas and water utilities, for hot and cold water distribution systems inside buildings and for industrial applications. Since 1994 already, +GF+ is using high quality PE100 materials for the production of its polyethylene fittings program. To support high quality PE piping systems, +GF+ experts are actively involved in the CEN and ISO standardisation process. The close collaboration with the PE100+ Association during many years in this respect, as well as the research projects regarding welding, is therefore highly appreciated. Globally present with local manufacturing sites, +GF+ also welcomes the world wide communication efforts made by the PE100+ Association helping to enhance the global acceptance of PE piping systems.
