The bulk transportation of solids is now setting demands vis-2-vis economic and ecological conditions, particularly overland, which traditional methods of transportation can no longer meet. However, transportation by pipeline provides an ideal solution to such problems. Technological advances in regard to this new method of transportation are being developed. The high quality and excellent performance characteristics of the pipes used are key factors in the success of this program. This report revues the longterm performance and advantages of GRF in these applications.
