Gemeentewaterleidingen Amsterdam is a Dutch water company supplying drinking water for Amsterdam and its regions, which covers the Leiduin/Haarlem water supply pipeline. This pipeline required upgrading for use as a middle pressure (up to 3 bar) pipeline for the supply of water to the city of Amsterdam. As part of this upgrading the 980 mm diameter concrete water transport pipeline from Leiduin to Haarlem section had to be rehabilitated.
